Recent Collaborations

GAUPA is a progressive stoner rock band from Falun, Sweden, known for their unique fusion of heavy riffs, ethereal melodies, and hauntingly dynamic vocals. When I began working on the artwork for their latest single, Heavy Lord, I was deeply inspired by the lyrics and themes of their songs.

The idea of “cutting the cord” resonated with me profoundly as a symbolic moment of liberation. Listening to the lyrics “Cut the Cord” and “Levitate” helped me envision the “Heavy Lord” as a towering, almost celestial being. This figure embodies not just raw power but also the immense responsibility and weight that come with independence. The artwork reflects this duality of strength paired with burden, freedom intertwined with profound self-awareness. I have used my iPad, procreate, and the default HB pencil brush of Procreate in this piece.

I continue collaborating with GAUPA, contributing to their evolving visual world through new EP covers, animations, and live VJ performances.
